As part of the "Estate Insieme" initiative created in favor of the children and young people of Mirandola, one of the towns most affected by the 2012 Emilia-Romagna earthquake, a representation of the SMAILERS participated together with other voluntary organizations in the creation of Summer camps of the local tent city. Particularly appreciated both by the organizers and by the children and parents was the initiative specially created by our volunteers, called "Mirandoliadi", a very fun and imaginative play-sport moment, in the name of the Olympic values.
The lived experience was described in a study-report, presented and discussed by one of our SMAILERS volunteers in the context of the International Conference "Communities and Crisis - Inclusive Development through Sport, organized by the ICSSPE, in Germany, in October 2012 .
The Smailers project on road safety is also tested in a private context, the "Sporting Club Paradise” of Rome, as part of their event “Sport at the service of Road Safety” intended for Club goers and open to all citizens.
The success of the first 2013 edition convinces the organizers to repeat annually such initiative.

Born with the aim of self-financing its social activities, the "Epiphany Smailers Lottery" (a local event regularly authorized by the State Monopolies) is supported by numerous private sponsors.
The first edition in 2012
sees the presence of the Smailers at the “Golden Circus” of Liana Orfei, during the celebration of the Epiphany of the VV.F. of the Rome Command. In the 2017 edition we wanted to give our small contribution to some local companies, affected by the earthquake, with solidarity purchases.

The Smailers Organization is the winner, following participation in the tender, of the Notice
Audience called by the XV Municipality of Rome Capital, for the realization of the Review
Musical“Musical journey…in crescendo”.
The Review is carried out between December 2013 and January 2014.
On the occasion of the civil anniversary“Grandparents Day”, the Smailers they propose and organize a day of celebration dedicated to the elderly of the neighborhood at the Parish of S. Vincenzo Pallotti in Rome.
The project "Safe streets” was created with the children of the San Leone Magno Institute in Rome. The theoretical part took place in the classrooms, while the practical part was carried out during the "Festa della Famiglia", the traditional closing meeting of the school year of the Institute itself. The children were thus able to experience what they learned in class, on the road circuit set up in the space of the "Green Club" Sports Centre. (laws)
